The Stress and Healthy Aging (StAR) Research Lab is dedicated to investigating factors that contribute to cognitive and emotional wellness in later adulthood, and intervention strategies that support health and wellbeing as we age.

Our work recognizes the importance of taking a biopsychosocial approach to understanding healthy and meaningful aging. We also recognize that “aging” is a multifaceted experience that does not simply begin once we turn a certain age, but is influenced by a multitude of factors that begin in-utero.
