Jimin is doing his fourth-year undergraduate Psychology Specialist program at the University of Toronto, with a minor in Linguistics. His research interests focus on aging and cognitive ability, particularly in relation to social well-being and discrimination toward older adults in diverse populations. He has contributed to research at the University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, working on projects in both social and cognitive psychology.
