We work very closely with our research collaborators at the University Health Network Bariatric Surgery Program, where Dr. Stephanie Cassin worked as a Registered Clinical and Health Psychologist prior to joining the faculty at Toronto Metropolitan University. We collaborate with several other Bariatric Centres of Excellence across Ontario to conduct our multisite clinical trials examining the efficacy of virtual cognitive behavioural therapy interventions. We also collaborate with researchers and education specialists at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and Obesity Canada to make interventions we develop more accessible to individuals living with obesity.
