Potential Grad Applicants: Update on Fall 2026 Application Cycle 

 

Hello prospective graduate students!

After taking a few years’ pause from accepting new graduate students, I am looking forward to reviewing applications for the 2026–2027 admissions cycle in the Clinical Psychology program at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU).
 

My students and their development as researchers are at the heart of my work. I am passionate about graduate training and supervision, and I am committed to creating opportunities for students to grow, develop their research interests, and flourish as researchers.

A note to prospective applicants: Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me by email about the upcoming application cycle. I appreciate your interest in working with me and the ARCAI Lab. Due to the high volume of emails I receive, I am unfortunately unable to respond to individual inquiries or meet with applicants in advance of the interview cycle.

If you are interested in working with me and the ARCAI Lab, please be sure to clearly indicate this in your application package. This will ensure that I receive and review your application as part of the admissions process. I will be in touch with shortlisted applicants in late December 2026 / early January 2027.

Increasing Your Chances of Admission: I encourage prospective applicants to review our guidance on how to increase your chances of admission.

 

Applications to the PhD Program: Please note that most students in our program complete both their MA and PhD at TMU. PhD positions are generally reserved for students who have completed their MA in our program. In rare circumstances, positions may become available to external PhD applicants (for example, if one or more of our MA students decide not to continue to the PhD).
