Brandy Murovec, MA

Brandy is a PhD student in the Psychological Science stream of the graduate program. Brandy completed her BA in psychology at the University of Waterloo and her MA at Ryerson. She is co-supervised by Behrang Keshavarz (Multisensory Integration in Virtual Environments Lab at the KITE Research Institute, University Health Network, Toronto) and Julia Spaniol. Brandy is interested in age differences in self-illusory motion, a phenomenon known as vection that plays an important role in the virtual-reality user experience. Brandy’s MA research examined the impact of visual, auditory, and haptic modalities on vection in younger and older adults.
