This study examines children’s perceptions of foreign accented individuals. Children listen to different speakers, each with either a foreign or native accent and speaking in with perfect grammar or grammar errors. Then children asked to rate the speaker on various traits. This study is conducted online, over video conference call. We are currently recruiting 5-to-6 and 9-to-10 year olds.
