Ownership Perception and Moral Judgments in the Context of Generative AI
Avishag Frank is investigating how children judge ownership of writing and artwork that was created with the help of generative AI. We are currently recruiting children aged 6–8, 10–12, or 14–16 for two studies:
Study 1: This study examines how children understand and think about ownership and cheating in a generative AI context. Children will be asked questions in an interview about their experiences and beliefs about generative AI.
Study 2: This study examines how children perceive ownership and judge cheating in the context of generative AI. Children will see stories of characters creating works either using AI or using another person and answer questions about who owns the work and the morality of the character’s actions.
