Get Involved

Learn how to get involved in the Indigenous Experiences Lab

There are three main ways you could get involved in the Indigenous experiences lab:

1. Apply to work with Dr. Efimoff as a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow at Toronto Metropolitan University. Please note Dr. Efimoff does not typically supervise clinical students, but may make an exception if you are Indigenous or your research interests are exceptionally well-aligned. In these cases, be sure to email Dr. Efimoff so she can ensure she reviews your application.

2. Reach out to Dr. Efimoff if you’re interested in volunteering. Interested volunteers should email Dr. Efimoff with their CV, a sample of their writing, their unofficial post-secondary transcript(s), and a description of why they are interested in the lab.

3. Apply for a paid Research Assistantship through the programs offered at Toronto Metropolitan University. Students interested in this path should contact Dr. Efimoff to express interest and discuss the application process. In their email, they should include their CV, a sample of their writing, their unofficial post-secondary transcript(s), and a description of why they are interested in the lab.
