Anthony (Tony) Miller, graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology in 2015 from Toronto Metropolitan University. In his final year, he joined Dr. Choma’s laboratory. After a year with Dr. Choma’s lab, Tony pursued post-secondary studies at Toronto Metropolitan University and later at the University of Ottawa. Leveraging his interest in extremism, specifically Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremism, Tony joined the Federal Public Service in 2019.
After some time with various departments, he now works at the Department of Finance Canada in the Financial Sector Policy team. He now works on various files related to Canada’s Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing regime. Tony credits the work he did with Dr. Choma as key for his future career.
