After graduating from TMU in 2018 with her B.A. in Psychology, Ceilidh held the lab coordinator role at the SPP Lab until the summer of 2019. From there, she went on to complete her Masters’ in Community Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University — for which, as her thesis, she designed, implemented, and evaluated Rainbow Writes, a creative writing group for 2SLGBTQ+ youth that she continues to facilitate. Ceilidh’s extensive background in research includes investigations of social justice initiatives, evaluations of peer-support programs across Canada, assessment of music therapy and VR programs in nursing and long-term care homes, and analysis of medical and social outcomes for trans youth through the Trans Youth CAN! study at SickKids. In her current role as a Strategic Analyst at Future Design School, Ceilidh oversees several company initiatives, writes and edits content, and practices user-centred research to assist schools, districts and industry clients worldwide in listening to the needs of their communities and setting community-centred strategic goals.
