Interacting with News on Social Media
The “Interacting with News on Social Media” study looked at how recently settled people in Canada engage with misinformation on social media. We presented speakers of English, Chinese, Tagalog, and Punjabi with the same misinformation in their respective languages and collected data on how they interacted with them using a mock social media website interface built using the Mock Social Media Website Tool. Check back in the future for results from the study!
L’étude “Interacting with News on Social Media” s’est intéressée à la façon dont les personnes récemment installées au Canada réagissent aux fausses informations sur les médias sociaux.
