Shapi is a fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University with minors in Sociology and Human Resources.
She is currently involved in TMU’s EDIJ committee and is a Research Assistant in Professor Ronda Lo’s CODE lab and Professor Anna Triandafyllidou’s Bridging Divides team.
Shapi is currently working on her undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Professor Becky Choma and wishes to pursue a Master’s in Social Psychology. Her academic interests focus on how perception is shaped by social structures and how social outcomes can be manipulated through politics, relationships, and institutions.
