class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><i>Data collection for the PACT Adult Study occurred between November 2023 &#8211; October 2024. In total, 100 transgender and gender diverse (TGD) adults of legal drinking age (i.e., 18-19+) were recruited from across Canada.\u00a0<\/i><\/p><p><i>Participants were enrolled into a\u00a0<\/i><i style=\"font-size: 1rem\">21-day Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA), a process that allows for surveys to be shared, and data to be collected, in real-time. The focus of these surveys centered around gender minority stress (GMS) and resilience, substance use, drinking motives, and alcohol-related harms.\u00a0<\/i><i style=\"font-weight: inherit\">A subset of 40 TGD folks\u00a0<\/i><i style=\"font-size: 1rem;font-weight: inherit\">also participated in a one-on-one interview with a peer researcher to gain a better understanding of their lived\/living experiences.\u00a0<\/i><i style=\"font-size: 1rem;font-weight: inherit\">Questions focused on the topics of GMS and resilience, alcohol-use, and alcohol-related harms. Data analysis for these portions of the study are currently underway.<\/i><\/p><p><i style=\"font-size: 1rem;font-weight: inherit\">We recruited all of our participants quicker than we had expected; this allowed our team to introduce a one-year follow-up to the study! This group consists of 6 TGD individuals from across Canada of varying ages, ethno-racial identities, and gender identities, with differing backgrounds, knowledge, and lived\/living experience and expertise.&nbsp;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>The Garden has been particularly instrumental in question design for the Baseline appointments and qualitative interviews.
