Volunteer Research Assistant Positions:<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Volunteer Research Assistants will have the opportunity to get involved in all stages of the research, from study design, participant recruitment, data collection, data analysis, and literature reviews.\u00a0Preferred candidates are available at least one day a week (6 \u2013 9 hours is typical) for 1-year and have some experience in research methods, statistics, and\/or technology (for instance from psychological or health science courses).\u00a0We welcome and especially encourage applications from visible minorities, Indigenous people, persons with disabilities, and persons of any sexual orientation or gender identity.<\/p>

Our\u00a0CARE Lab Manual\u00a0<\/a>is a resource for current lab members and prospective members. Feel free to look it over if you are interested in learning more about how the CARE Lab operates and what it would be like to be a part of the lab.<\/p>

Dr. Sarah Dermody and the Clinical Addictions Research and Equity Lab (CARE) at TMU are currently not<\/u><\/b> accepting applications for volunteer Research Assistants. If you are interested in joining the Lab, please fill out our Lab’s Volunteer Application<\/a> to be put on our waitlist.<\/p>

Dr. Dermody will be reviewing applications in Fall 2024 to offer admission to a graduate student for the 2025 \u2013 2026 academic year.<\/u><\/b><\/p>

If you would like to join the laboratory as a Clinical Psychology or Psychological Science graduate student, please apply to our graduate program and indicate in your personal statement your interest in working with Dr. Dermody in the CARE Lab.\u00a0Unfortunately, Dr. Dermody does not have time to meet with or correspond with potential applicants prior to their application.
