Koerner<\/strong> directs the Cognition and Psychopathology Lab. Although her research to date has focused mostly on worry and generalized anxiety disorder, the lab has a broad interest in cognition and psychopathology, specifically in the ways in which concepts and methods from experimental cognitive psychology can be used to (1) gain a better understanding of etiological and maintaining factors in clinical disorders and (2) refine psychological treatments.
