The study is a randomized controlled trial exploring the benefits of a music program on the psychosocial and cognitive functions of older adults.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an honours thesis student, I am also conducting an independent project as an extension of the Mitacs-funded study. My study will focus on the immediate benefits of music on arousal and pleasantness ratings of older adult participants.
