Ph.D. Graduate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kesaan successfully completed his Ph.D. in the clinical psychology program under the supervision of Dr. Yang in the Department of Psychology at Toronto Metropolitan University. He also completed his M.A. on the role of inhibition in accounting for age-related changes in cognitive control. Expanding from this work, his dissertation project examined age-related differences in producing spontaneous thoughts, and their relationship to dysregulated inhibition (recruitment ongoing). Beyond exploring inhibitory contributions to other cognitive functions, his broad research interests include investigating neurocognitive compensation in aging and other cognitive factors that influence the generation of conscious thoughts. His career goal is to register as a clinical neuropsychologist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, Kesaan has accepted a position as a Predoctoral Intern in Clinical Neuropsychology at Baycrest Health Sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
