{"id":1331,"date":"2023-10-13T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-10-13T16:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/psychlabs.torontomu.ca\/aspirelab\/?p=1331"},"modified":"2023-12-13T11:05:59","modified_gmt":"2023-12-13T16:05:59","slug":"introducing-the-aspire-lab-tmu-psychology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psychlabs.torontomu.ca\/aspirelab\/introducing-the-aspire-lab-tmu-psychology\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing the ASPIRE Lab @ TMU Psychology"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We&#8217;d like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Adolescent Social Processes and Interpersonal RElationships (ASPIRE) Lab at TMU!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Merriam-Webster defines<strong> <\/strong><em>aspire<\/em> as &#8220;seek(ing) to attain or accomplish a particular goal.&#8221; The ASPIRE Lab&#8217;s research mission aligns with this definition, by working towards having a better understanding how social relationships contribute to youth development and well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The relationships we have with others play an important role in shaping how we are and how we feel.
